MEET YOUR MENTOR
HEY, I’M SARAH.
I'm Sarah Kamoto, a mentor and coach for women in midlife. For the past seven years, I've supported women through difficult relationships, separation, divorce, and some of the biggest decisions of their lives.
And I’m angry about how much women are expected to carry, accommodate, and stay quiet about to keep everyone else comfortable.
A good husband doesn't automatically mean you have a good marriage.
You can love him. Be proud of what you’ve built. Love the woman you’re becoming. And still feel this constriction in your home and life because so much of it depends on you continuing to be someone you’ve outgrown.
As a Black woman, an intersectional feminist, and a former good girl and people pleaser, I know what it takes to build trust in yourself when you’ve spent years adjusting yourself around other people.
I'm divorced, remarried and a parent to two gorgeous girls. I know there are people you love in these decisions. Shared responsibilities. A whole life you’ve built. I also know how easily all of that becomes the reason your own life keeps having to wait.
I'm not pro-divorce or anti-marriage. I'm unapologetically pro-woman.
I want you to feel the power you’ve worked so hard to build in the way you actually live. In what you say out loud. What you stop taking responsibility for. What you choose next, even when your husband isn’t on your wavelength. That’s the work we do inside Liberation.
